Mateusz Gołaś, son of Franciszek Gołaś and Józefata Cudnik, and Agnieszka née Wyrostek Szumowska, daughter of Bartłomiej Wyrostek and Maryanna Zabłocki, widow of Seweryn Szumowski, were married in the parish church in Mały Płock, Kolno Powiat, Łomża Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 20 June 1845.

Borkowo Mały Płock 17

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twentieth day of June in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-five at the hour of ten in the morning.
We make it known that in the presence of witnesses Paweł Wyrwas, forty years of age, and Wojciech Cudnik, fifty years of age, both peasant farmers residing in Borkowo, on this day, with a blessing imparted by Us, a religious marriage was contracted between Mateusz Gołaś, a young man staying until now in Borkowo with his father, born there of the married couple Franciszek and the deceased Józefata née Cudnik Gołaś, peasants residing in Borkowo, twenty years of age, and Agnieszka Sumowska, a widow left behind after the death of Seweryn Szumowski on the twelfth of January in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-four, daughter of the married couple Bartłomiej and Maryanna née Zabłocki Wyrostek, peasant farmers residing in Mały Płock, twenty-five years of age, making a living as a farmer in this village .  This wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns on the eleventh, eighteenth, and twenty-fifth days of May of this same year in the parish of Mały Płock, also with the oral consent of those present for the marriage record and of the father on the side of the groom. No impediment to the marriage arose. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses all of whom do not know how to write.

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the fifteenth /twenty-seventh day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-seven at the hour of three in the afternoon .  There appeared Piotr Terebka, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo, sixty years of age, in the presence of Antoni Terebka, fifty-two years of age, and Jan Marus, twenty-five years of age, both farmers from Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of eight in the evening of his wife Katarzyna née Gołaś, thirty-six years of age .  To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Józef, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Antoni Terebka and Maryanna Terebka .  This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses and was signed only by Us. The father and the witnesses do not know how to write.

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-second day of February / sixth day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-nine at the hour of ten in the morning .  There appeared Wojciech Gołaś, father of the deceased, forty-five years of age, and Jan Marus, thirty years of age, both peasant farmers residing in Kąty, and they stated that on the day before yesterday at the hour of twelve noon, Teofil died in Kąty, one and a half years old, son of the married couple, the afore-mentioned Wojciech and Maryanna Gołaś, peasant farmers residing in Kąty .  After visual confirmation of the death of Teofil, this document was read aloud to the illiterate declarants and was signed only by Us.

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-sixth day of November / eighth day of December in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-nine at the hour of one in the afternoon .  There appeared Wojciech Gołaś, a peasant farmer residing in Borkowo Gietki, twenty-three years of age, in the presence of Franciszek Kordal, forty years of age, together with Franciszek Paliwoda, sixty years of age, both peasant farmers residing in Borkowo, and he showed Us a child of the female sex, stating that she was born in Borkowo yesterday at the hour of three in the morning of himself and his wife Anna née Marus, twenty-two years of age .  To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day by the Reverend Lutostański was given the name Ewa, and her Godparents were the afore-mentioned Franciszek Kordal and Elżbieta Gołaś .  This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and was signed by Us .  The declarant and witnesses do not know how to write.

The scribe made an error in the place of residence of the father .  He stated in the text that the father resided in Gietki, but noted in the margin “Borkowo, and word underscored” to indicate that the correct place of residence was Borkowo, not Gietki.
