Tomasz Gołaś, son of Jan Gołaś and Maryanna Sielun, and Franciszka Duda, daughter of the Jan Duda and Małgorzata Tomska, were married in the parish church in Mały Płock, Kolno Powiat, Łomża Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 28 July 1844.

Kąty 27

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-eighth day of July in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-four at the hour of twelve noon.
We make it known that in the presence of witnesses Jakób Siwik, age forty, and Tomasz Jerzyła, age sixty, both peasant farmers residing in Katy, on this day, with a confirmed blessing imparted by Us, a religious marriage was contracted between Tomasz Gołaś, a widowed peasant residing until now on a farm in Kąty, born there of the married couple Jan and Maryanna née Sielun Gołaś, thirty-six years of age, and the young girl, Franciszka Duda, a peasant, daughter of the married couple the deceased Jan and the living Małgorzata née Tomska Dymek, peasants residing in Kąty, twenty-two years of age .  This wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns on the thirteenth, twentieth, and twenty-seventh days of July of this same year in the parish of Mały Płock, also with the oral consent of those present for the marriage record and of the mother on the side of the bride. No impediment to the marriage arose. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses all of whom do not know how to write.

The scribe omitted the phrase “peasants residing in Kąty” from the text and added it in the margin .  The marginal notation further states “and underline shown, J Kulisz”.

231 Kąty

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the ninth day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty at the hour of one in the afternoon .  There appeared Jakób Duda, a peasant farmer residing in Kąty, forty years of age, in the presence of Franciszek Jerzył, thirty years of age, together with Walenty Grajek, forty years of age, peasant farmers from Kąty, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Kąty on the fourth day of September in this same year at the hour of four in the morning of Franciszka née Duda Gołaś, a widow after the death of Franciszek Tomasz Gołaś who died on the twenty-eighth day of August in this same year, a peasant in Kąty residing on a farm, thirty years of age .  To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day by the Reverend Lutostański was given the name Dominik, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Jakób Duda and Ludwika Siwik .  This document was read aloud to the illiterate declarant and witnesses and was signed by Us.

The priest originally wrote that the name of the deceased father was Franciszek Gołaś, but corrected it in the margin to Tomasz Gołaś.

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-ninth day of January in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty at the hour of eleven before noon .  There appeared Stanisław Goralczyk, thirty-three years of age, and Franciszek Gołaś, twenty-seven years of age, son of the deceased, both peasant farmers in Kąty, and they stated that yesterday at the hour of eight in the evening, Tomasz Gołaś die in Kąty, a peasant farmer residing in Kąty and also born there, fifty-six years of age, son of the married couple the deceased Wojciech and Maryanna Gołaś, leaving behind his widowed wife Franciszka née Duda .  After visual confirmation of the death of Gołaś, this document was read aloud to the illiterate declarants and was signed by Us.

This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the sixth / eighteenth day of May in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-four at the hour of three in the afternoon .  There appeared Tomasz Gołaś, a peasant farmer residing in Kąty, forty years of age, in the presence of Franciszek Olender, thirty years of age, together with Jakób Siwik, forty-five years of age, both farms from Kąty, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Kąty yesterday at the hour of seven in the morning of his wife Franciszka née Duda, thirty years of age .  To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Jan, and his Godparents were Franciszek Olender and Ewa Gutowska .  This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses who do not know how to write.
