He was baptized in the parish church in Krasne, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 21 September 1851.

85. [Mosaki]-Rukle . This happened in the village of Krasne on the ninth / twenty-first day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-one at the hour of ten in the morning. There appeared Leon Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in [Mosaki]-Rukle, thirty-six years of age, in the presence of Józef Milewski, thirty-two years of age, and Błażej Chodkowski, forty years of age, both owners of a part [of the village] and residing in [Mosaki]-Rukle, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle yesterday at the hour of two in the afternoon of his wife Konstancja née Milewska, thirty years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Michał, and his godparents were Wojciech Niedziałkowski and his wife Małgorzata. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write.
