Józef Zygmuntowicz was the half-brother of my second great-grandmother, Ksawera Zygmuntowicz. He was born on 17 March 1862 in Łaguny, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland, and he was baptized on 23 March 1862 in the Roman Catholic Church in Zielona, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland.

Łaguny. This happened in Zielona on the twenty-third day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-two at the hour of one in the afternoon. Stanisław Zygmuntowicz appeared, owner of a part [of the village] residing in Łaguny, forty years old, in the presence of Franciszek Goździski, sixty-nine years old, residing in Goździe, and Franciszek Obidziński, twenty-eight years old, residing in Rączki, and he showed us a male child born on the seventeenth day of the current month at the hour of ten in the evening of his wife Anna née Jemielska, forty years old. At Holy Baptism performed today, this child was given the name Józef, and the Godparents were the afore-mentioned Franciszek Goździski and Konstancja Grabowska. This document was read to the declarant father and witnesses and was signed by the declarant, by us, and by the first witness. The second witness does not know how to write.
