He was baptized in the parish church in Pałuki, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 09 April 1854.

[Pajewo-]Rzyski 48.
This happened in Pałuki on the twenty-eighth day of March / the ninth day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-four at the hour of twelve noon. There appeared Józef Suwiński, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in [Pajewo-]Rzyski, twenty-six years of age, in the presence of Mikołaj Chodkowski of Klonowo, sixty-two years of age, and Ludwik Brzozowski of Długołęcki, forty-four years of age, owners of parts [of the village], and he showed Us a child of the female sex born in [Pajewo-]Rzyski yesterday of his wife Marianna née Chodkowska, twenty-one years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Ewa, and her Godparents were the afore-mentioned Mikołaj Chodkowski and Julianna Lipowska. This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and, because they do not know how to write, it was signed only by Us.
