29 Mosaki In the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixteen, on the seventh day of the month of January at the hour of eight in the morning, before Us, the Vicar of the parish of Krasne in the Przasnysz Powiat, Płock Department, there appeared the well-born Piotr Bartołd, forty-eight years of age, owner of his part [of the village], settled in Mosaki, and he showed Us a child of the female sex who was born in his home under the number six on the sixth day of the month of January in the same year at the hour of eight in the evening, declaring to us that the child was begotten of him and his wife Anna née Grabowska, thirty-two years of age, and that it is his wish to confer on her the name Paulina . After making the above statement and showing Us the child, in the presence of the well-born Idzi Bartołd, forty years of age, together with Maciej Niedziałkowski, forty-eight years of age, both owners of their parts [of the village], settled in Mosaki. After which this birth record was read aloud and signed by Us, inasmuch as the declarants do not know how to write.
