No. 32.    Kębłów
This happened in the town of Piaski wielkie on the first (fourteenth) of July in the year one-thousand nine-hundred one at the hour of one in the afternoon. We declare that in the presence of witnesses Józef Swita, fifty-five years of age, and Wincenty Baniach, fifty years of age, townsmen from Piaski and day laborers, on this day a religious marital union was contracted between Jan Kozioł, twenty years of age, an unmarried man born in the village of Sitaniec and residing with his parents in Kębłów, a day laborer, son of Andrzej Kozioł and his wife Anna née Korgol, day laborers, and Katarzyna Dańko, nineteen years of age, an unmarried woman, born in the town of Tarnogóra, residing with her mother in Kębłów, daughter of the deceased Wincenty Dańko and his living wife Marianna née Basiak, day laborers. This marriage was preceded by three readings of the banns in the local parish church on the seventeenth (thirtieth) of June, the twenty-fourth of June (seventh of July), and the first (fourteenth) of July of the current year. The newlyweds stated that they had not made a premarital agreement. The permission of the father of the groom and the mother of the maiden who were present at this marriage having occurred orally, the religious ceremony of marriage was performed by the Reverend Stanisław [Czewnalski?] vicar of the local parish. This document was read aloud to those present who are illiterate, and was signed only by Us.
[signed] The Reverend [Biaarigui?] – Civil Registrar
This record shows that Katarzyna Danko was the daughter of Wincenty Dańko who died earlier in 1901. With this record, it appears that all the Dańkos whose life events were recorded in the Piaski record books are probably related to each other. The only fact from the records that contradicts this conclusion is the difference in the maiden names of Jan Dańko and Wincenty Dańko.
According to the records, Jan Danko’s parents were Wojciech Dańko and Agnieszka Smika. Wincenty Dańko’s parents were Wojciech Dańko and Agnieszka Guz.
