     3.
Mosaki Rukle. In the year one-thousand eight-hundred eight, on the nineteenth day of the month of September, before Us, the pastor of the parish of Krasne, performing the duties of Registrar of the Civil State, Krasne District, Przasnysz County in the Płock Province, there appeared the well-born Maciej Konstanty Mossakowski, a bachelor who, according to a certificate submitted by Us which was extracted from the books of the Krasne church, is twenty-three years old, until now residing with his father, in the accompaniment of his father, the well-born Franciszek Mossakowski, owner of his part [of the village], residing in Mosaki-Stara Wieś and son of the deceased Katarzyna née Mórawska Mossakowski, together with the maiden Zuzanna Chotkowska who, according to a certificate submitted by Us which was extracted from the books of the Krasne church, is twenty-seven years old, until now residing in the home of her mother, in the accompaniment of her mother the well-born Elżbieta née Ostrowska, residing in Mosaki-Rukle, daughter of the deceased well-born Paweł Chotkowski, owner of his part [of the village], and who resided in this village. The parties who appeared demand that we proceed with the celebration of the marriage arranged between them, the announcement of which was made before the doors of our District House, that is: first on the fourth of September and second on the eleventh of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred eight at the hour of twelve thirty in the afternoon. When no impediment to the said marriage was revealed, and the families hereby consent, acquiescing therefore to the request of the parties, after reading all the aforementioned papers and section six in the title of the Napoleonic Code regarding marriage, we asked the future husband and future wife whether they wished to join with each other in a marital union. When each of them responded separately that such is their wish, we proclaim in the name of the law that the well-born Maciej Konstanty Mossakowski, bachelor, and the maiden Zuzanna Chotkowska are joined in a marital union. We drew up a record of this in the presence of Wawrzeniec Mossakowski, owner of his part [of the village], forty-two years of age and residing in Mosaki-Stara Wieś, Konstanty Mossakowski, twenty-six years of age, Piotr Bartołt, fifty-five years of age, owner of a part and residing in this village, and Jan Chotkowski, owner of his part [of the village] and thirty years of age, full-brother of the bride, residing in Mosaki-Rukle. The present document was read aloud to the declarants and was signed by us because those people mentioned in the document are unable to write.
The Reverend Franciszek Sułkowski, pastor of Krasne, discharging the duties of Civil Registrar.
