3 Klonowo
In the year 1793 on the 15th of February, I Błażej Miżyński, Vicar of Pałucki, baptized a female by the name of Julianna, daughter of the noble Andrzej and Kunegunda née Milewska Niedziałkowski, a legally married couple. The Godparents were the Generous Mateusz Pajewski and the Generous Zofia Bartułkowa.
Many of the records from Klonowo refer to the participants as “nblium”, short for “nobilium” meaning “noble”, but this record refers to the Godparents as “Gnosus” and “Gnosa”, which is short for “generosus / generosa”, also meaning “noble”. I am uncertain of the difference in meaning between these two words, but the distinction is clearly made in many records.
