Continue the Year 1826
â„– 7 Chodkowo WielkieThis happened in the village of Podoś on the eighth day of February in the year one-thousand eight-hundred twenty-six at the hour of eleven before noon. There appeared the well-born Jakub Chodkowski, father of the deceased, age thirty-three, and Józef Budny, his neighbor, forty years of age, both owners [of the village] residing in Chodkowo Wielkie, and they stated that on the fifth day of the same month at the hour of ten at night, Julian Chodkowski, one year old, died in the home of his parents Jakub Chodkowski and his wife Franciszka Bobińska. After visual confirmation of the death of Julian Chodkowski, this document was read aloud to the declarants and signed; none of the declarants know how to write.
[signed] The Reverend Franciszek Maicki, Pastor of the Parish of Podoś
Although this record was recorded in the parish in Podoś, it was filed in the parish of Płoniawy because Płoniawy succeeded Podoś as the parish church in the area.
