Gardzienice 24
This happened in the town of Piaski wielkie on the twenty-first day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-seven at the hour of twelve noon. There appeared Adam Ciesielka, a day laborer and father of the child, twenty-eight years of age and residing in Gardzienice, in the presence of Wojciech Żurek, forty-five years of age, and Kajetan Sidor, forty-three years of age, both farmers residing in Gardzienice, and he showed us a child of the female sex born on the twelfth of March of the present year at the hour of two in the afternoon of his wife Elżbieta Kasperek, twenty five years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed this day was given the name Salomea, and her Godparents were the afore-mentioned Wojciech Żurek and Ewa Korbus. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us because the father and the witnesses do not know how to write.

I saw some of your postings on the Ciesielka family. My grandparents came from a small town SE of Krakow and they settled in Philadelphia.
How can I learn more?
