14. Gardzienice
This happened in the town of Pisaki wielkie on the twenty-seventh day of January in the year one-thousand, eight-hundred sixty-six at the hour of two in the afternoon. There appeared Jan Dańko, a field hand, thirty years of age and residing in Gardzienice, accompanied by Stanisław Korbus, fifty years of age, and Szymon [Aksamirzki?], thirty years of age, both farmhands in Gardzienice, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Gardzienice on the twentieth day of January in the same year at the hour of six in the morning of his wife Małgorzata née Korbus, twenty-eight years of age. At Holy Baptism performed today, this child was given the name Franciszek and his Godparents were Ludwik Szczęsniewski and Katarzyna [Ropnoska?]. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write and we ourselves signed.
