Maria Catharina Christian, daughter of Johann Reinhard Christian and Anna Elisabetha Falkenhainer, was born in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hessen-Darmstadt (now Germany) on 10 Oct 1758. She was baptized in the parish church in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hessen-Darmstadt (now Germany) on 10 Oct 1758.

Â Â Â Between 5 and 6 o’clock on the morning of Sunday, the 10th of October, a little daughter was born to Johann Reinhard Christian, citizen and resident of this place, and his wife Anna Elisabetha née Falkenhainer and, on the same day and place was brought for Holy Baptism. The sponsor was Maria Catharina [one word?] daughter of the local Wilhelm Falkenhainer. The child was given the name Maria Catharina.
