Johannes Seng, son of Philipp Seng and his wife Elisabetha Lather, was born on 20 Oct 1835. He was baptized in the Evangelical Church in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hesse-Darmstadt (now Germany) on 08 Nov 1835.

Johannes, Son of Philipp Seng.
Early in the morning of the twentieth of October in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred thirty-five, between twelve and one o’clock, after a credible report, the fourth child, the third son to be precise, was born to Philipp Seng, citizen and baker here, and his wife Elisabetha née Lather, which on the eighth of November was baptized, where he was given the name Johannes.
The sponsor was:
Johannes Seng, forest assistant in Hattenbach, Niederaula District in Kurhesse, in whose place Heinrich Lather, a baker here, stood in,who has signed the present document next to the father of the child and me the minister who performed the baptism.
