On 19 Apr 1780, Johann Reinhard Lather, son of Andreas Lather, and Maria Catharina Christian, daughter of Reinhard Christian, were married in the Evangelical Church in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hesse-Darmstadt (now Germany).
