Christina, Balthasar Lather’s Daughter
Between eleven and twelve o’clock at night on September ninth in the year of the Lord eighteen-hundred forty-six, after a credible report, the fifth child and second daughter was born to Balthasar Lather, citizen and tailor here, and his wife Elisabetha Margaretha née Lather, and on the twenty-seventh of the same month she was baptized and given the name Christina.
         The Sponsor was:
         Christina, wife of Christoph Philipp Lather, tailor here,
who has signed the present document next to the father of the child and me the minister who conducted the baptism.
