Bap[tism] of Marie Louise Fortin
In the year one-thousand six-hundred ninety-nine on the twenty-seventh day of March, was baptized by me, the undersigned missionary priest of Pointe a la Caille and Cap St. Ignace, in the church of this Cap St. Ignace, Marie Louise, born on the previous day, daughter of Eustache Fortin and Louise Cloutier his wife, residents of the Seigneurie of Islet. The Godfather was Pierre Gagnier and the Godmother was Louise LePicard, who have declared that they does not know how to write or sign as required by law .
