Nishan John Mooradian (who would become the first husband of my Aunt Mary Danko) was enumerated in the 1940 US Federal Census with his parents and siblings at 262 Chandler St, Worcester, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, USA.

    • George [Kevork] Mooradian was head of household, was a white male, 64 years old, married, was not attending school, had completed 0 years of school, was born in Armenia and was a naturalized citizen of the United States, was working during the week of March 24-30, worked 70 hours the week of March 24-30 as a barber in private business, worked on his own account, worked 52 weeks in 1939, earned $500, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages
    • Mary [Mariam] Mooradian, wife of George, provided the information for the census, was a white female, 54 years old, married, was not attending school, had completed 0 years of school, was born in Armenia and was a naturalized citizen of the United States, was not working the week of March 24-30, was not doing public emergency work, was not seeking work, did not have a job or business, and was doing housework
    • Harry [Hurant] Mooradian, son of George, was a white male, 36 years old, single, was not attending school, had completed 8 years of school, was born in Massachusetts, was working during the week of March 24-30, worked 42 hours the week of March 24-30 as a baker in a bakery, worked in private work, worked 52 weeks in 1939, earned $1300, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages
    • Leo [Levon] Mooradian, son of George, was a white male, 33 years old, single, was not attending school, had completed 8 years of school, was born in Massachusetts, was working during the week of March 24-30, worked 0 hours the week of March 24-30 as a mason for the city, worked in private work, worked 52 weeks in 1939, and did not earn more than $50 from sources other than wages
    • Vahan Mooradian, son of George, was a white male, 32 years old, single, was not attending school, had completed 7 years of school, was born in Massachusetts, was not working the week of March 24-30, was not doing public emergency work, and was seeking work
