Teofil Gołaś, son of Franciszek Gołaś and Katarzyna Kowalewska, was born on 24 May 1862 in Kąty, Kolno Powiat, Łomża Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland. She was baptized on 25 May 1862 in the parish church in Mały Płock, Kolno Powiat, Łomża Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland.

145 Kąty
This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-fifth day of May in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-two at the hour of two in the afternoon . There appeared Franciszek Gołaś, a peasant farmer, thirty years of age, residing in Kąty, in the presence of Jakób Galanek, thirty years of age, together with Jan Kowalczyk, forty years of age, both peasant farmers from Kąty, and he showed Us a child of the male sex, stating that he was born in Kąty yesterday at the hour of two in the morning of his wife Katarzyna née Kowalewska, twenty-five years of age . To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day by the Reverend Bukowski was given the name Teofil, and his Godparents were Tomasz Chaberek and Maryanna Siwik . This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses and was signed by Us.
