While my time in San Juan, Puerto Rico was brief, it certainly was pleasant . I stayed at the Caribe Hilton which has a beautiful property on the sea with a private beach, swimming pools, and lots of recreational options . I could see Fort San Gerónimo from my hotel room and, down by the beach, I could see beautiful vistas out to the Caribbean . I tried to take a photo of a school of fish in the water, but the photo looks more like abstract art than fishes . All in all, a relaxing visit to San Juan.

Very nice photos. I’m wondering if you are heading elsewhere, because that was a short visit. And, a very long way from where you live.
Yes, Barbara, San Juan was just the first stop. Wait until you see where I went next!
How wonderful to see you looking so relaxed! I don’t think I have ever seen you like that before! LOL Puerto Rico is simply a mahvahlous place to vaycay from what I have heard. It is on my list of things to do, places to go and people to see before I die list!
See you in June at Jamboree!
Yes, Sheri, and I will have to do penance to make up for all the fun I had on this trip – and during Lent at that!
Sweet. I like the “little fishes” photo and you seem to be taking in the sunshine quite well.
I like the “little fishies” photo, too, even though you can’t tell what the photo is unless someone talks you through it!
You seem to “do” holiday very well, Steve!
The older I get, the better I am at “doing” holidays!
Great photos. The fish one looks like it belongs in an Impressionist exhibit.
That’s true, Amy! The ripples on the surface of the water even resemble brush strokes!
The little fishes are spectacular under the water … next time snorkelling gear and special camera?
Brenda, it seems that the photo everyone likes best is the one I almost threw away. I’m glad I had the presence of mind to keep it!
