Ignacy Chodkowski, son of Józef Chodkowski and Maryanna Trętowska, was born on 13 January 1860 in Klonowo, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland. He was baptized in the parish church in Pałuki, Ciechanów Powiat, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 15 January 1860.

Klonowo 7.
    This happened in Pałuki on the fifteenth day of January in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty at the hour of one in the afternoon . There appeared Józef Chodkowski, owner of a part [of his village], residing in Klonowo, forty years of age, in the presence of Piotr Kołokowski from Klonowo, thirty-three years of age, and [Nercusz?] Burkacki from Przytok, fifty-six years of age, owners of parts [of their villages], and he showed Us a child of the male sex, born in Klonowo the day before yesterday at the hour of seven in the morning of his wife Marianna née Trętowska, thirty years of age . To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Ignacy, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Piotr Kołakowski and Anna Trętowska . This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and, because they do not know how to write, it was signed only by Us.
