This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twelfth / twenty-fourth day of March in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-eight at the hour of one in the afternoon. There appeared Andrzej Wysoki, twenty-seven years of age, and Wiktor Jankiewicz, fifty years of age, both farmers in Płock, and they stated that yesterday at the hour of eight in the morning, Paweł died in Płock, three years of age, son of the married couple Wojciech and Katarzyna Gołaś, day laborers from Płock. After visual confirmation of the death of Gołaś, this document was read aloud to the declarant and was signed only by Us. The witnesses do not know how to write.
[signed] The Reverend F[ranciszek] Sakowicz, Head of Mały Płock
At first, I thought these parents were Wojciech Gołaś and Katarzyna Kowalewska, but these parents have a different occupation and live in a different village.
