Mosaki Rukle and Kobylin Szlachecki 5.
This happened in Węgrzynowo on the fifteenth / twenty-seventh day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three at the hour of five in the evening. We announce that in the presence of witnesses Paweł Chodkowski of Krzyżewo Nadrzeczne, thirty-four years of age, and Kajetan Chodkowski of Mosaki Rukle, fifty-five years of age, both owners of parts [of their villages], a religious marriage was contracted today between Jan Chodkowski, a young man twenty-one years of age, son of the married couple Franciszek Chodkowski and Franciszka née Długołęcka, both deceased, born in Mosaki Rukle in the parish of Krasne and residing there on inherited lands, and the young woman Józefa Kobylińska, eighteen years of age, daughter of the married couple Adam Kobyliński and Marianna née Krzyżewska, born in Kobylin Szlachecki and residing there on inherited land. This wedding was preceded by three reading of the banns to the people assembled at parish services at the hour of nine in the morning on three successive Sundays, those being on the twenty-ninth of March / the tenth of April, as well as the fifth / seventeenth of April, and the nineteenth / twenty-fourth of April of this same year in the parish churches in Krasne and Węgrzynowo. No impediment to marriage arose from either side. Oral consent was given by the guardians of both sides present for the recording of this document because the parents of both newlyweds are deceased. The [newlyweds] stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement. This document was read aloud to the newlyweds and witnesses who do not know how to write and was signed by Us alone.
[signed] The Reverend Jan Wołosz, Head of the Parish of Węgrzynowo, maintaining the documents of the Civil State
