Teodor Chodkowski, son of Błażej Chodkowski and Agnieszka Łyszkowska, was born on 24 October 1847 in Mosaki Rukle, Ciechanów Okręg, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland. He was baptized in the parish church in Krasne, Ciechanów Okręg, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 31 October 1847.

68. [Mosaki] Rukle. This happened in the village of Krasne on the nineteenth / thirty-first day of October in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-seven at the hour of eleven before noon. There appeared Błażej Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in [Mosaki] Rukle, thirty-seven years of age, accompanied by Jakub Chodkowski, fifty years of age, and Franciszek Niedziałkowski, thirty-three years of age, both owners of a part [of the village] and residing in [Mosaki] Rukle, and he showed us a child of the male sex born in the village of [Mosaki] Rukle on the twelfth / twenty-fourth day of October in the same year at the hour of ten in the evening of his wife Agnieszka née Łyszkowska, twenty-six years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Teodor, and his Godparents were Wojciech Niedziałkowski and Małgorzata his wife. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write.

I usually lurk, but I thought I should just comment that I *do* read your blog faithfully. I really love it, not just because of my own genealogy hobby, but also because of the raw documents you put up, which I find very fascinating.
P.S. You’ve got a typo in the subject/title line of this entry: “The Birth and Baptismal Record of Teofil Chodkowski – 1847” should say, of course, “Teodor Chodkowski”. I thought you should know. 🙂
