Mikołaj Andrzej Chodkowski, son of Jan Chodkowski and Joanna Kobylińska, and Zuzanna Zofia Chodkowska, daughter of Stefan Chodkowski and Anna Roman, were married in the parish church in Płoniawy, Maków Okręg, Płock Gubernia, Congress Kingdom of Poland on 27 July 1856.

28. Chodkowo Kuchny
This happened in the village of Płoniawy on the fifteenth / twenty-seventh day of July in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-six at the hour of seven in the afternoon.
    We make it known that in the presence of witnesses, Teodor Chotkowski, no relation, age fifty-four, together with Stanisław Roman, uncle of the young woman, age thirty-five, owners of parts [of the villages], the first residing in Chodkowo załogi, and the second in Chodkowo wielkie, on this day a religious marriage was contracted between the young man Mikołaj Chodkowski residing with his father in Chodkowo wielkie, age nineteen, son of Jan Chodkowski and his wife, the deceased Joanna née Kobylińska, owners of a part of Chodkowo wielkie, born in Chodkowo wielkie; and the young woman Zuzanna Chodkowska, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo kuchny, age sixteen, born in Chodkowo kuchny of the deceased Stefan Chodkowski and his wife Anna née Roman, owners of a part [of the village] of Chodkowo kuchny. This wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns on the twenty-fourth of June, the first and eighth of July / the sixth, thirteenth, and twentieth of July in the same year in the parish of Płoniawy, as well as the oral consent of the father of the young man and the guardian of the young woman who were present for the recording of this marriage record. No impediment to the marriage arose. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and Teodor Chodkowski and Franciszek Roman, the guardian, signed, the other people do not know how to write.

Zuzanna Zofia Chodkowska was my 4th cousin 4X removed. Mikołaj Andrzej Chodkowski was my 5th cousin, 3X removed. The two were second cousins to each other, sharing great-grandparents Adam Chodkowski and Julianna Bieńkowska.
