He was baptized in the parish church in Przasnysz, Ciechanów Ziemia, Mazovian Województwo, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, on 12 April 1793.

Leszno: In the year 1793 on the 12th day of April, the Reverend Father Felix [Kolazowski?], Ordinary of St Francis [de Observantia?], baptized an infant with the names Leon Konstanty, son of the married couple, the Noble Mikołaj Chodkowski and Marianna née Kazłowska [three words?] Leszno. The Godparents were the Noble Piotr Milewski [one word?] of Przasnysz, and Marcianna Hankiewicz.
