This really is a distinguished group of genealogy blogs and includes quite a variety including news blogs, instructional blogs, research blogs, podcasts, humorous blogs, serious blogs, opinionated blogs, factual blogs, and everything in-between.
I’ve followed most of these blogs for quite some time, but I have to admit that there were a couple I hadn’t visited before I saw this list.
The genealogy blogosphere is constantly changing, with new blogs appearing all the time. When I started this blog three years ago, I found only a few genealogy blogs to include in my Blogroll. Now, I’m overwhelmed with the number of genealogy blogs available. It’s safe to say that there exist genealogy blogs to fit nearly anyone’s taste and the list is still growing.
Moreover, genealogy blogs don’t exist in isolation. The social networking aspect of blogs through comments, communities, and interactions among bloggers enriches the medium and provides a method by which bloggers and readers can improve their genealogy skills.
Thanks, ProGenealogists for recognizing these genealogy blogs, including mine. And now, if you don’t mind, I think I’ll bask in my 15 minutes of fame.

Congratulations, Steve. I’ve been following your blog almost since the beginning and even though I don’t have Polish ancestors I find your record transcriptions and other posts inspiring. Well done!
Bravo and a job well done! Your hard work has paid off with recognition from the professional world of genealogy. It also brings recognition to genea-bloggers. I for one am grateful to you for this.
