Johannes Lather, son of Johann Reinhard Lather and his wife Maria Catharina Christian, died on 03 Jan 1781. He was buried at the Evangelical Church in Kirtorf, Alsfeld Kreis, Hesse-Darmstadt (now Germany) on 05 Jan 1781.

Between 5 and 6 o’clock in the evening on the 3rd of January [1781], Johannes, the little son of the local citizen Johann Reinhard Lather, died. On the 5th of the same month, the child was buried in the earth; age 7 months and 8 days.
