This happened in the village of Mały Płock on the twenty-second day of November / fourth day of December in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-four at the hour of two in the afternoon . There appeared Wojciech Gołaś, a peasant farmer residing in Kąty, forty-one years of age, in the presence of Jan Marzec, twenty-one years of age, together with Franciszek Prusinowski, thirty years of age, both farmers from Kąty, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Kąty yesterday at the hour of six in the evening of his wife Maryanna née Jorzak, forty years of age . To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Walenty, and his Godparents were Józef Chaberek and Małgorzata Rajnko . This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses who do not know how to write.
