Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Bedy 97.<\/p>\n This happened in Pa\u0142uki on the first\/ thirteenth day of June in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-eight at the hour of one in the afternoon. There appeared Ludwik Suwi\u0144ski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Bedy, twenty-seven years of age, in the presence of Ferdynand Suwi\u0144ski, twenty-five years of age, and Stanis\u0142aw Tr\u0119towski, fifty-seven years of age, owners of parts [of the village] and residing in Radzieje, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Bedy on the seventeenth \/ twenty-eighth day of May of his wife Teofila n\u00e9e Niska, twenty-three years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Ludwik, and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Ferdynand Suwi\u0144ski and his wife Aniela. This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and because they do not know how to write, it was signed by Us alone.
