Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n Bedy 17.<\/p>\n This happened in Pa\u0142uki on the twenty-first day of January \/ second day of February in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-two at the hour of twelve noon. There appeared Ludwik Suwi\u0144ski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Bedy, twenty-one years of age, in the presence of Ludwik Brzozowski of D\u0142ugo\u0142\u0119cka, forty-one years of age, and J\u00f3zef Dzierz\u0119cki of Bedy, forty-six years of age, owners of parts [of the village], and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Bedy yesterday of his wife Karolina n\u00e9e Brzozowska, twenty-one years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Ignacy and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned Ludwik Brzozowski and his wife Rozalia. This document was read aloud to the declarant and the witnesses, and because they do not know how to write, it was signed only by Us.
