Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n [Radzieje-]Bede 115.<\/p>\n This happened in Pa\u0142uki on the twenty-second day of October \/ third day of November in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-two at the hour of three in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared Ferdynand Suwi\u0144ski, son of the deceased, from D\u0142ugo\u0142\u0119cki, thirty-three years of age, and J\u00f3zef Dzierz\u0119cki from [Radzieje-]Bede, forty-four years of age, both owners of parts [of the village], and they stated that today at eight in the morning, Maciej Suwi\u0144ski, a widower, died in [Radzieje-]Bede, sixty-five years of age, born and residing in [Radzieje-]Bede with his family, son of the deceased married couple J\u00f3zef and mother’s name unknown Suwi\u0144ski .\u00a0 After visual confirmation of the death of Maciej Suwi\u0144ski, this document having been read aloud to the declarants and because they do not know how to write, was signed by Us alone. Maciej Suwi\u0144ski was the father-in-law of my 2nd cousin 4X removed, Marianna Chodkowska .\u00a0 This record states that the name of Maciej Suwi\u0144ski’s mother was unknown .\u00a0This is unfortunate, since I know from Maciej’s marriage record that his mother’s given name was Ludwika but I don’t know her maiden surname .\u00a0 Perhaps I will learn her maiden surname if I can find Maciej’s birth and baptismal record .\u00a0 However, even though the death record and marriage record both state he was born in Radzieje-Bede (parish of Pa\u0142uki), I have not yet found Maciej’s birth and baptismal record in the records for the parish of Pa\u0142uki.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2010 by Stephen J.
