Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n \u00c2\u00a0No 44 Klonowo<\/span><\/p>\n This happened in Pa\u0142uki on the thirteenth day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred thirty at the hour of four in the afternoon .\u00a0 There appeared the well-born Miko\u0142aj Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Klonowo, fifty-two years of age, in the presence of Wincenty Barto\u0142d, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Klonowo, thirty years of age, and Micha\u0142 Milewski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Klonowo, forty years of age, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born here in Klonowo on the twelfth of this same month and year at the hour of ten in the evening of his wife Antonina n\u00e9e Pajewska, thirty-five years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Leon and his Godparents were the previously listed Wincenty Barto\u0142d and Teofila Milewska. This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and was signed by Us. The people listed in the document do not know how to write. Leon Chodkowski was my 2nd cousin 4X removed.<\/p>\n The ages reported in this record seems to be somewhat incorrect .\u00a0The age of Miko\u0142aj Chodkowski, in particular is incorrect .\u00a0The record states that he is fifty-two years old, but he was only thirty-two at the time of this event.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2009 by Stephen J.
