Gibson &#8211; 1928<\/a> .\u00a0 The permit states that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">The permit was issued to Barber &amp; Lanier, the undertakers for Arnold Gibson, in Montpelier, Montpelier County, Vermont;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">Arnold R. Gibson died on 14 Mar 1928 age 68 years, 6 months, 27 days;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">The cause of death was unknown, natural causes, sudden death, circumstances reported to States Attorney who authorized certificate without autopsy;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">The proposed date of burial was 16 Mar 1928 and the proposed place of burial was Worcester, Vermont;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">The manner of burial was usual;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div align=\"left\">The permit was signed by Jessie M. Putnam, Town Clerk, on 16 Mar 1928.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">This permit was microfilmed along with the vital records for Vermont and\u00c2\u00a0appeared on the microfilm immediately following\u00c2\u00a0Arnold Gibson&#8217;s Death Certificate.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The manner of burial was described as &#8220;usual&#8221;, which makes me wonder what an &#8220;unusual&#8221; manner of burial would entail.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Neither the Death Certificate nor the Burial Permit for Arnold Gibson is more specific about the place of burial than Worcester, Vermont.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"left\">Copyright \u00a9 2007 by Stephen J.
