Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Nr 4 R\u0105czki<br \/>\nThis happened in the village of Zielona on the twenty-eighth day of January in the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixty-one at the hour of nine in the morning .\u00a0 There appeared Wojciech Chodkowski, twenty-one years of age, residing in R\u0105czki, in the presence of Stanis\u0142aw \u017bbikowski, fifty years of age, and Daniel Grabowski, fifty years of age, residing in R\u0105czki, and he showed Us a child of the male sex, born today at the hour of six in the morning of his wife Joanna n\u00e9e Grabowski, twenty-nine years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Jan, and his Godparents were Stanis\u0142aw \u017bbikowski and J\u00f3zefa \u017bbikowska. This document was read aloud to the declarant father and the witnesses and was signed by Us.
