This happened in the village of Krasne on the twenty-fifth day of March \/ sixth day of April in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-one at the hour of twelve noon<\/span>.\u00e2\u20ac\u00a1 There appeared Aleksander Chodkowski, a farmer residing in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle, thirty years of age, in the presence of B\u0142a\u017cej Chodkowski, forty-one years of age, and Leon Chodkowski, thirty-five years of age, both farmers residing in [Mosaki]-Rukle, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born the day before yesterday at the hour of eleven at night of his wife Katarzyna n\u00e9e Mossakowska, thirty-five years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed today was given the name Teodor and his Godparents were the afore-mentioned B\u0142a\u017cej Chodkowski and his wife Agnieszka. This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses who do not know how to write. \u00e2\u20ac\u00a1 [one word?] underline [unknown?] Teodor\u00c2\u00a0Chodkowski was my 2nd cousin 4X removed.<\/p>\n The priest underlined the hour that the birth was reported and then made a note at the bottom of the record .\u00a0I could not read the beginning and end of this note, but the middle word was “underline”. Whatever the note says, it apparently explains why the hour\u00c2\u00a0the birth was reported is underlined in the record .\u00a0<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2010 by Stephen J.
