Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>49. Mosaki-Rukle. This happened in the village of Krasne on the twentieth day of September \/ second day of October in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-two at the hour of ten in the morning. There appeared Maciej Niedzia\u0142kowski, fifty-four years of age, together with Walenty Niedzia\u0142kowski, fifty-eight years of age, both farmers residing in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle, [and they stated] that yesterday at the hour of six in the evening Mateusz Chodkowski died, residing on his parts [of the village] in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle, fifty years of age, son of the married couple Jan and J\u00f3zefa Chodkowski, leaving behind his widowed wife Paulina n\u00e9e Barto\u0142d in [Mosaki]-Rukle.
