Click on the link for a PDF copy of the Baptismal Record for\u00c2\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stephendanko.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/CRB-Niedzialkowski-Jozef-1801.pdf\">J\u00f3zef Niedzia\u0142kowski<\/a> .\u00a0 Translated from the Latin, the record states:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">Page 202<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">39 Mosaki Godacze, the 5th Day of July in the Year 1801<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I, Andrzej Roman, Canon Regular of the Laterans,\u00a0baptized an infant by the name of J\u00f3zef born on [illegible] day, the son of the Noble Tomasz and Cecylia n\u00e9e Chotkowska Niedzia\u0142kowska, a lawfully married couple .\u00a0 The Godparents in the Sacred Font were the Noble Augustyn Obydzie\u0144ski and Ma\u0142gorzata Kierzkowska.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">As compared to the Baptismal Records for the children previously born to Cecylia Chodkowska and Tomasz Niedzia\u0142kowski, this record apparently has a reference to the actual date of birth .\u00a0 The word after &#8220;natum die&#8221; may tell when J\u00f3zef was born .\u00a0 Unfortunately, I can&#8217;t tell what that word is .\u00a0 The only thing I&#8217;m relatively sure of is that the word is not &#8220;hodie&#8221; meaning &#8220;today&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Notice, too, that the priest referred to Tomasz and Cecylia as &#8220;Noble&#8221; .\u00a0 This probably doesn&#8217;t mean that they had any high status\u00c2\u00a0in Poland, but rather that they owned land in the village .\u00a0 They probably belonged to the &#8220;lesser nobility&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Copyright \u00a9 2006 by Stephen J.
