Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 46\u00c2\u00a0 Mosaki-Rukle\u00c2\u00a0 This happened in the village of Krasne on the seventeenth \/ twenty-ninth day of\u00c2\u00a0 June in the year one-thousand eight-hundred forty-three at the hour of eleven before noon. There appeared J\u00f3zef Milewski<\/span>, a farmer residing in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle, forty-four years of age, in the presence of Jan Chodkowski, seventy years of age, and Maciej Niedzia\u0142kowski, sixty years of age, both farmers residing in the village of [Mosaki]-Rukle, and he showed Us a child of the female sex born the day before yesterday at the hour of four in the afternoon of his wife Teresa n\u00e9e Chodkowska, twenty-eight years of age. To this child at Holy Baptism performed on this day was given the name Marianna, and her Godparents were the afore-mentioned Jan Chodkowski and his wife Marianna. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write. As seen in several other birth and baptismal records, although J\u00f3zef Milewski was able to sign his name (as documented in the birth and baptismal record of his son Felix born in 1835, and in his own marriage record from 1835), the priest wrote that none of the declarants or witnesses knew how to write.<\/p>\n Marianna Milewska was my 3rd cousin 3X removed.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2010 by Stephen J.
