\nIn the year one-thousand eight-hundred sixteen on the seventeenth day of the month of November at the hour of five in the afternoon, before Us, the Reverend Miko\u0142aj Ruci\u0144ski, Assistant Registrar of the Civil State in the Krasne Gmina, Przasnysz Obw\u00f3d in the P\u0142ock Voivodeship, there appeared the well-born Jan Chodkowski, landowner, thirty-six years of age and residing in Mosaki Rukle, and he showed Us a child of the male sex which was born in his home under the number eleven on the fifteenth day of November in this same year at the hour of six in the evening, declaring to Us that he was begotten of him and his wife Marianna n\u00e9e Obidzi\u0144ska Chodkowska, twenty years of age, and that it is his wish to give him the name Leon. After making the above statement and showing Us the child, in the presence of the well-born Jan Milewski, an unrelated landowner, forty years of age and residing in Mosaki Rukle, together with the Honest Mateusz Buk\u0142ad, an unrelated peasant farmer, fifty-six years of age and settled in Kurowy. This birth record was read aloud to the declarants and was signed by Us, the Assistant Registrar of the Civil State, inasmuch as the people mentioned in the record do not know how to write.
