Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 6\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 The Year 1826 This happened in the village of Podo\u015b on the sixth day of August in the year one-thousand eight-hundred twenty-six at the hour of five in the afternoon. We make it known that in the presence of witnesses the well-born Piotr \u0141yszkowski, owner of his part [of the village] and residing in Konarzewo Wielki in the parish of Go\u0142ymin, forty-one years of age and uncle of the groom, and Piotr Chodkowski, full brother of the bride, owner of his part in Chodkowo Za\u0142ogi, twenty-nine years of age, on this day a religious marriage was contracted between the well-born Walerian Chmieli\u0144ski, a twenty-nine year old bachelor in Konarzewo Wielki in the parish of Go\u0142ymin, Przasnysz Obw\u00f3d, residing together with his father on inherited land, born and residing there on his place, [son of] the married couple, the well-born Florian Chmieli\u0144ski and the deceased Julianna n\u00e9e \u0141yszkowska, residing as stated above; and Antonina Chodkowska, a twenty-two year old young woman residing with her mother in Chodkowo Za\u0142ogi and born in that place of the married couple, the deceased well-born Micha\u0142 Chodkowski and the living Marianna n\u00e9e Milewska, residing as stated above in Za\u0142ogi on their inherited parts [of the village]. This wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns on the sixteenth, twenty-third, and thirtieth days of July of this same year in the parishes of Podo\u015b and Go\u0142ymin; also with the oral consent of the mothers of the newlyweds. No impediment to the marriage was discovered. The newlyweds stated that there was a premarital agreement between them drawn up on the thirteenth day of July of this same year by Antoni Niski in the Obw\u00f3d Notary Office in Przasnysz. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and was signed by Us and Walerian Chmieli\u0144ski. The other people named in the document do not know how to write.
