Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 140 .\u00a0 Chodkowo.<\/p>\n This happened in the village of P\u0142oniawy on the fifth \/ seventeenth day of December in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-four at the hour of twelve noon. There appeared Ignacy Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo, twenty-seven years of age, accompanied by Stanis\u0142aw Roman, thirty-four years of age, together with Fabian Zabielski, fifty-two years of age, owners of parts [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo, and he showed us a child of the male sex born in Chodkowo on the twenty-seventh day of November \/ ninth day of December in the same year at the hour of ten at night of his wife Katarzyna n\u00e9e Bartold, twenty-seven years of age. At Holy Baptism performed on this day, the child was given the name Stanis\u0142aw, and his godparents were the married couple Stanis\u0142aw and Marianna Roman. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write and was signed by Us alone.
