Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n 66 .\u00a0 Chodkowo This happened in the village of P\u0142oniawy on the nineteenth \/ thirty-first day of July in the year one-thousand eight-hundred fifty-three at the hour of eleven before noon. There appeared Ignacy Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo, twenty-six years of age, accompanied by Ignacy Chodkowski, age fifty-six, together with Stanis\u0142aw Roman, age thirty-two, owners of parts [of the village], the first residing in Bobino and the second residing in Chodkowo, and he showed us a child of the male sex born in Chodkowo on the thirteenth \/ twenty-fifth day of the same month and year at the hour of seven in the morning, of his wife Katarzyna Bartold, twenty-six years of age. At Holy Baptism performed on this day this child was given the names Franciszek Jakub, and his Godparents were Ignacy Chodkowski and Julianna Bartold. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write and signed by Us alone.
