The earliest records for my Niedzia\u0142kowski ancestors are in the Krasne parish where the villages of Mosaki and Godacze were located, but my Great-Great-Grandfather, Wojciech Niedzia\u0142kowski, moved to the Szwelice parish sometime during his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Szwelice parish, all of the church records I’ve found for the Niedzia\u0142kowski family were reported from either Pomaski or G\u0142odki.\u00a0 Here are the S\u0142ownik Geograficny<\/em> entries for those two villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pomaski<\/strong>, a village of noblemen, Mak\u00f3w Powiat [District], Smrock gmina [municipality], Szwelice parish.\u00a0 It is made up of three parts:\u00a0 Pomaski Kownaty<\/em>, in 1827 4 homes, 29 inhabitants;\u00a0 Pomaski Sikuty<\/em>, in 1827 11 homes, 62 inhabitants; Pomaski Wielkie<\/em>, in 1827 25 homes, 142 inhabitants.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
