This happened in the village of P\u0142oniawy on the thirtieth day of August \/ eleventh day of September in the year one-thousand eight-hundred thirty-six at the hour of eleven before noon. There appeared the noble and well-born Jan Chodkowski, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo wielkie, forty years of age, together with Jan Chodkowski, sixty years of age, owner of a part [of the village] and residing in Chodkowo wielkie, and he showed Us a child of the male sex born in Chodkowo wielkie on the twenty-eighth day of August \/ ninth day of September in the same year at the hour of eight in the evening of his wife Joanna n\u00e9e Kobyli\u0144ska, forty-six years of age. At Holy Baptism performed on this day, this child was given the names Miko\u0142aj Andrzej, and the Godparents were the married couple Andrzej and Anna Chodkowski. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses who do not know how to write and was signed by Us.
