I, Piotr Offemberg, Canon Regular of the Laterans and preacher of Krasne, baptized a female child with three [two] names: Katarzyna [one word?] and Agnieszka, daughter of the legally married couple, the Nobles Pawe\u0142 and El\u017cbieta Chotkowski. The Godparents in the Sacred Font were the Nobles Wojciech Chotkowski and Anna Ostrowska.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Katarzyna Chodkowska was my first cousin 5X removed. The original record states that she had two names, but there appears to be a correction to indicate that she was given three names: the first was Katarzyna, the second is illegible, and the third is Agnieszka. Thanks to my cousin Christa who pointed out to me that the Latin word filia in the record is singular. I was uncertain whether this record was for multiple names or multiple births, but the singular form of the Latin word for daughter is proof that there was only a single child with\u00c2\u00a0three names.<\/p>\n
