Milewo Malonki<\/p>\n In the year 1814, on the 23rd of September, the noble Wojciech Milewski, age 70, a married man, who died of old age three days ago at the hour of 4 in the afternoon, was armed with the Sacraments and buried in the cemetery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Wojciech’s age at death provides an approximate year of birth: 1814 – 70 = 1744.<\/p>\n Wojciech is referred to as “uxoratus” which I have translated as “married man”. The same priest used the Latin word “maritus” when referring to other deceased men, and I am not certain what the difference between “uxoratus” and “maritus” is.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2008 by Stephen J.
