He was baptized in the parish church in Gzy, ziemia ciechanowska, wojew\u00f3dztwo mazowieckie, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth on 30 Nov 1803. Translated from the Polish, the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Borze-Marczysze<\/p>\n<p>Year of the Lord 1803 .\u00a0 On the 30th day of November I, Walenty D\u0119bicki, Prefect of the church of Gzy, baptized an infant with two names Tomasz Andrzej, son of the nobles Baltazar Borski and Katarzyna n\u00e9e Napierkowska, legally married. The Godparents in the Sacred Font were the nobles Piotr Borski called Elias and Teresa Bienkowska<br \/>\nfrom the village of Borze-Strumiany.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The image above is a digital photograph of the actual baptismal record for Maciej Borski in the Book of Baptisms for the parish of Gzy 1781-1808. This image also appears on FHL INTL microfilm 1,496,799, Item 2.<\/p>\n<p>This record mentions clearly that the child was given &#8220;bini Nnis&#8221; or &#8220;two names&#8221;. Of the Polish birth and baptismal records I have seen, most show that the child was given only one name. When the child was given two names, the priest sometimes mentioned that fact directly, as in this record.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Copyright \u00a9 2008 by Stephen J.
