Translated from the Latin the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Klonowo<\/p>\n<p>In this same year [1723] on the 26th day of September, the same [Walenty Jan Smolarski, vicar of Pa\u0142uki] baptized [a child?] by the name of Mateusz, born the 20th of September at night of the noble Krzysztof Niedziakowski and Konstancja \u017baboklicka, a legally married couple. The Godparents were Walenty Klonowski and Helena Niedzia\u0142kowska.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As with most other Polish records from this time period, this record does not specifically state all the details of the baptism. The record refers to a previous entry for the year (1723) and the name of the priest (Walenty Jan Smolarski, vicar of Pa\u0142uki) are stated.<\/p>\n<p>Mateusz Niedzia\u0142kowski was my 5th great grand uncle.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2008 by Stephen J.
