Translated from the French the record reads:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bap[tism] of \u00ed\u2030lizabeth Fortin<\/p>\n<p>In the year one-thousand six-hundred ninety-five on the eighth day of the month of April by me, the undersigned priest providing the functions of the pastor of this parish was baptized Elizabeth, born the fifth of this month, daughter of Charles Fortin and Sainte Cloutier his wife.
